LITCHFIELD–A pair of oil on canvas paintings by the prolific Korean artist Kim Heung Sou (b. 1919) sold for a combined $52,500 in an Internet and catalog auction held April 14-28 by Litchfield County Auctions, the firm announced.

My friend has this stunning painting/print of Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly, and she said it was from Blockbuster and there was a Marilyn Monroe one she wanted there as well. This was about 2-4 months ago, has anyone seen them there? I don’t want to make a trip to find out they are gone! Thanks so much! By the way, these canvas prints are quite large! About 30$ each.

I am trying to find a program that will take a digital photo, and turn it into something that looks like a painting. I know Photoshop has some tools that allow you to do brush strokes or Fresco, etc. However, I am looking for an oil painting or pastel look so I can print it on canvas. Any suggestions?

i want to do it myself because that’s more memorable and the fun way. i know the grid system to enlarge photo onto canvas, but any help with the rest would be much appreciated!
i know how to turn the photo into pop art in photoshop, i want tips on how to paint it, if that’s possible thanks

I simply want to know if i can put varnish over photos attached to a painted canvas and if i cant what can I use to make it seem like the photos were not simply stuck on?
