Is there a printing company I can deal with directly that does what cafepress and deviant art do?

Published by nikimedia under Uncategorized

I want to start a niche site about one city, take photos and make them available for people to buy like cafepress and deviant art do. The photos can be printed onto canvas, mugs, handbags, posters, t-shirts. Does anyone know a company that deals with smaller niche sites so i won’t have to use cafepress or devianart?

gallery wrap canvas printing photoshop tutorial?

Published by nikimedia under Uncategorized

I want to learn the steps to clone the edges of my photos(1-2 inches) and mirror them for the 4 sides of a print to be made on canvas. I’ve experimented with free transform, and marquee selections, but it seems a hit and miss. The goal is to have the image wrapped around the sides, but without losing the original perspective, just adding mirrored edges on the sides.

Online professional photo printing services?

Published by nikimedia under Uncategorized

I am a photographer and I have been printing from my Kodak printer which has the same quality as the big Walmart and Rite aid printers. I also use extreme high quality paper that is $40 a pack. I have decided to take my business more seriously and take it to the next level, although my printer head has died on me. I have heard of companies such as Snap Fish and such but if their quality doesn’t vary much from the Kodak prints I will stay with Kodak. The most professional I have heard of is PE photo. It offers canvas that aren’t 20×30 large, so customers don;t have to pay $70+ for a canvas.

HELP?

I need something that I can order online and have shipped to me without charging me an arm and a leg. Especially when I can order online at Walmart and have it delivered free to the store.
WHAT is the largest quality difference? Paper and print? I am not only looking for print but other services such as mugs, books, t-shirts etc. The books are REALLY great and I can charge less for them than regular prints. Where do I find packaging for my clients? slips and large photo envelopes that customize logos and name?

Printing on Canvas?

Published by nikimedia under Uncategorized

I am an owner of a Sign Company and want to offer Canvas prints but am unhappy with my prints so far. I am printing on a Mutoh wide format printer. It can print up to 1200×1200 dpi. I have tried a number of different brands of canvas, but, am still unhappy with the clarity. Printing the same photo directly on vinyl gives me a much clearer print.
Taking into account that this printer outputs a beautiful print when printing directly on vinyl, can anyone tell me why the canvas prints are not up to par? (last vinyl printed on was by Bulldog and was the orange dot line).
